Concept Mapping Workshops
Description
Concept mapping is a technique for visualizing the relationships among different ideas or concepts. It is a particularly useful brainstorming exercise for nonprofit organizations wishing to gain clarity about how various ideas and concepts interact with their mission. Concept maps often connect ideas and concepts with relational words and phrases such as “produces”, "gives rise to", "results in", "is required by," or "contributes to." Our concept mapping workshops are usually ½ half day sessions and are designed to be highly interactive.
Deliverables
We bring all supplies and materials and we facilitate each workshop. At the end of each workshop, we take a digital photograph of the concept map and we work with graphic designers to translate that image into a visual representation you can use in strategic plans, internal memos, and concept papers.
