This was the question presented to us by Advancing Community Schools in Baltimore (ACSB), a non-profit, community-based organization. They wanted to demonstrate the power of community schools, a concept that by design requires active participation from a whole host of stakeholders, from parents to principals. We designed and developed a website that could be integrated with Engage, an online advocacy tool developed by the Congressional Quarterly Roll Call. In less than one month, we had a prototype designed and operational. We established a relationship for them with CQRC and launched their very own advocacy and collective action site.
