It’s been more than two years since I last posted a blog and a lot has happened in that time period. I took some time to rethink the direction of the company and, in the process, I rediscovered my own.
When I formed Symphonic Strategies roughly 14 years ago, it was an expression of my desire to transfer what I’d learned as a business consultant to the non-profit community, particularly those serving low-income, people of color. After nearly a decade of advising executives at some of the largest and most successful businesses in the world, I wanted to help those who were focused on a different mission.
Upon reflection, it’s been quite a journey for me and for Symphonic Strategies. Over the next few months, I will be sharing some of those reflections with you, as I retell our story, with a new perspective.
