Tammee Thompson

Senior Advisor

Tammee has enjoyed a successful business career spanning over 30 years, gaining experience across various sectors, including financial services and management consulting. She has worked at major corporations such as General Electric, Johnson Controls, Waste Management, and Dover Corporation.

In 2022, Tammee joined Dover Corporation as the Chief Operating Officer of Environmental Solutions Group (ESG), North America's largest manufacturer of vehicles, equipment, and software solutions for the solid waste industry. The brands under ESG include Heil, Marathon, Soft-Pak, and 3rd-Eye. As the Chief Operating Officer, she oversaw 1,200 associates along the concept-to-production value chain, actively collaborating with the CEO on commercial initiatives. Her direct reports included Vice Presidents responsible for Engineering, Product Management, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety. Prior to joining ESG, she served as the Area General Manager at Waste Management, leading a team of over 2,600 environmental professionals engaged in collection, landfill, transfer, recycling operations, and business support functions. Her direct responsibility included the $1.6B Commercial and Residential Sales and Pricing organization within the company’s operations in Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and the Boroughs of New York City.

In 2010, Tammee began independently investing in real estate "fixer-uppers" and discovered her talent for revitalizing neglected homes. In 2013, she left corporate life to pursue her real estate interests full-time and founded CHANDELIER HOLDINGS LLC (Chandelier Property Group), a privately held real estate development company specializing in the acquisition and disposition of distressed residential real estate.

From 2011 to 2013, Tammee served as Vice President and General Manager of Global Security and Fire at Johnson Controls, Inc., overseeing operations in North America, Latin America, and the Middle East for the $650M global division offering security protection technologies and services.

From 2006 to 2009, Tammee led the Asia division of GE Security, overseeing operations in China, India, Korea, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia. Before that, she worked in the Corporate Initiatives Group at General Electric, focusing on cross-business sourcing and procurement programs. In 2001, she joined GE Energy Global Supply Chain Management as Manager, Business Development, Plant & Equipment, and Inventory, responsible for supplier acquisition and overseeing GE Energy’s Plant & Equipment expenditures and Inventory Management Practices. In 2003, Tammee assumed the P&L leadership role for the Intermodal Leasing Segment at GE Equipment Services, playing a key role in turning around the Rail Services Division.

Prior to joining GE, Tammee held strategic positions at Morgan Stanley & Co., The Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young, LLC, and ITT Corporation.

Tammee has been recognized by Essence Magazine as one of "The New Power Generation," The Network Journal’s annual "40 under 40" list, and Black MBA Magazine’s "Top 50 under 50."

In addition to her corporate work, Tammee has been active with several child advocacy organizations.

She is a former Board Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Philadelphia County and Vice Chair of the Georgetown University Board of Regents and the Georgetown University Black Alumni Council. Tammee is also a chef, having fulfilled a lifelong dream of completing her professional culinary training at the New York City’s French Culinary Institute in 2011.

Tammee holds a BA Degree in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA Degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
